Force Majeure

Waiver

No waiver of any of the provisions of this or any Agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties.

Your accessing of this website and/or undertaking of a booking or Agreement indicates your understanding, agreement to and acceptance, of the Disclaimer Notice and the full Terms and Conditions contained herein. Your statutory Consumer Rights are unaffected.

 

Data Protection & Privacy

What information will you collect about me?

– When you use this website you may be asked for personally identifiable information such as your name, address, date of birth, email address and telephone number. By giving us such information you agree to our using it in the manner described in this policy. Credit Card information and details are NOT collected by the company

– Cookie information, pages you have requested and your IP address may also be recorded by us from your browser as set out in this Data protection and privacy statement.

 

What do you do with information about me?

– Any personal information you provide when using and/or registering with our website may be used for the following purposes, and ONLY by Beeston Hockey Club Ltd.

– updating membership records
– updating records of other related WCP activities
– completing transactions with you

– personalising areas of the website to match your profile
– keeping track of areas of the website that you visit and the facilities you use so we can improve the Site to meet users’ needs

Credit Card payments

All payments taken via our Secure “Stripe” payments gateway. Credit card details are entered on a secured page hosted by the our site and that they is transferred using SSL to the payment gateway.

 

USE OF IMAGES
WCP may take pictures and videos of players at camps for the WCP social media pages, website and marketing material. If any parent or guardian does not want their child to be photographed or filmed, please inform the company Directors in writing.
LOST PROPERTY
WCP does not accept responsibility for any lost or stolen items. Players are requested not to bring any valuables to class. Mobile phones are not permitted on the pitch.
BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT
WCP reserve the right to exclude any player at their discretion.
HEALTH
If players have any health issues it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify WCP on their application forms. Please include all details of any such problems, including allergies, medication etc.
SUPERVISION
Students will be supervised at all times by D.B.S. checked staff. We respectfully request that parents and guardians do not observe classes as it distracts students and prevents teachers from obtaining children’s full attention.
INSURANCE
Public Liability insurance is maintained by WCP. Further details are available on request.

ACCIDENT, INJURY AND DEATH

Beeston Hockey Club Ltd shall not be liable for any accident, injury, damage (to any person or property), or death caused by any participant on our courses, by a participant’s failure to wear any appropriate protective equipment (e.g. gumshield, shinpads – this list is not exhaustive).
